Ready to use SRI Paint [Thermal Block Paint] is a combination of Acrylic paint with 3-M Glass Microsphere Insulation additive. 3M Glass Microspheres are high-strength, low-density additives made from a water resistant and chemically-stable soda-lime-borosilicate glass. They are used in a variety of applications, including automotive, marine, oil and gas and construction. Because of their hollow shape, 3M Glass Microspheres are being used in the paint industry since many years to provide thermal insulation. These resultant paints are sold as anti-condensation paints for high humidity rooms. Resistance to condensation comes from the greater surface temperature of the paint compared with ordinary paint. Reflectance of solar light is achieved by scattering visible and infrared. Total SRI Value is 105 and Emissivity is 94%.

Acrylic paint manufactured by our dedicated vendor is the paint we which use for SRI painting. It is a water thinable ready mixed paint for application on concrete surfaces. This Acrylic based special purpose paint is designed to give a tough wear resistant film when applied over concrete surfaces. Traditional paints can only reflect 49% of the radiant heat. However, after mixing this with 3M Glass Microspheres this paint will reflect about 97% of the radiant heat. Furthermore, this is a water-based paint and does not deplete the ozone layer, making it an eco-friendly choice too.
